Re: England C v Nepal - Any Squad News?

So pleased I went despite getting soaked. Great atmosphere with lots of families in attendance. The roof would’ve come off if Nepal had scored! Would be lovely if we could get the local Nepalese population attending Shots games in numbers. Ollie man of the match for England, was the best player on t...

About 80% supporting Nepal. To be fair, they’ve been much better second half. I feared for them after the second goal. They’ve hit the bar and a couple of other good chances.

Re: Council election

In my ward, the Labour candidates have certainly been more proactive and ‘present’ - both door knocking in person and online. Always seem willing to listen to people. I can’t say the same of the Conservative candidate. A few people on our Community Facebook page have said they’ve given Labour a cha...

Indeed, this is all very enjoyable. In my opinion the Tories as we knew them died when they threw Clarke, Grieve, Stewart, Gauke and Churchill’s grandson out of the party. No longer the ‘broad church’ they claim to be.

Re: Council election

For anyone interested in the Local Election results for Rushmoor as a whole, I make it: Labour 10,739 (48.6%) Conservative 8,218 (37.2%) Others (14.2%) So Labour 11.4% ahead, although this would fall to around 5-6% if the Yateley Wards from Hart Council, which are part of the 'Aldershot' Parliament...

Re: Council election

Yes. I support Labour but I don't agree with everything they do. I don't support " multiculturalism " Most countries are now "multicultural", it's a choice that was taken century's ago and it's not a choice for our generation to make, it's happened, the question is, how we deal ...

Most countries are now "multicultural", it's a choice that was taken century's ago and it's not a choice for our generation to make, it's happened, the question is, how we deal with it, do we cling on to some ideal Englishman/person who is obviously white, only eats proper English food, n...

Re: Council election

The most amazing thing is that 1 in 4 people say they're still going to vote Tory. Where have they been living the last 15 years? I can only assume they're the people using private healthcare, send their kids to private school, travel first class on trains and have cars expensive enough not to notic...

Re: Council election

You only have to look at the number of bankrupt Labour-run councils up and down the land to realise that things are unlikely to be any better with them in charge at Rushmoor. Frankly, I think the entire system is f*cked and it doesn't matter which flavour of 'leaders' we end up with - too many are ...

Re: Council election

Labour have got a helluva job to do. The area has been trashed by the Tories over the last couple of decades and I’m frankly surprised the local population kept them there so long.
