You've got to spot it , in the first instance. Simple enough in the PL where every move is covered by camera. Just watched MOTD Newcastle v Brighton. A Colombian player from each side booked for blatantly diving. Both booked. Doesn’t belong in the game. Is cheating. Should be sent off.
