Or you mean making as much money for their business as they can. All the time people are mug enough to pay it, they will charge it. I think £23 is too much to watch non-league football hence why I rarely go anymore.beechcroft wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 8:49 amI think you mean ripping of the public as much as they can !redblueuptoyou wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 11:52 pmUnfortunately, this is standard for this kind of venue.Reg's corner wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 5:23 pm Cant do this cant do that ,cant bring real food. A word of warning to anybody going to Wembley. According to my older cousin who is an Oxford United fan and was at Wembley last year for the league 1 play off final. You will not be let in if you have any form of rucksack with you, and instead will have to leave it at a bag drop off point, for which you will be charged £10.

Wembley Stadium is a cashless venue, meaning that no kiosks will accept cash, and only card and contactless payments are accepted for all purchases.

Yep, all these corporate venues do it. It’s how they make their money but doesn’t make it easier on our wallets.beechcroft wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 8:49 amI think you mean ripping of the public as much as they can !redblueuptoyou wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 11:52 pmUnfortunately, this is standard for this kind of venue.Reg's corner wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 5:23 pm Cant do this cant do that ,cant bring real food. At the last England Game,i took a bottle of water in,which they allowed, but made me remove the bottle top but knowing their system,i always have a few spare bottle tops in my pocket and then apply to the bottle once through their security. One way around the issue.Reg's corner wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 11:52 am Are you allowed your own water bottle? I think it’s the usual anything over A4 size backpack that won’t be allowed in. Standard at mass spectator events since the Manchester bombings.Cph.shots wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 5:03 pmThanks for that,Pitcombe1 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 12:44 pm A word of warning to anybody going to Wembley.
