Re: TW Posts on X (Formerly Twitter)
If this is him he’s got to go unfortunately.
Re: TW Posts on X (Formerly Twitter)
Definitely wants out
Re: TW Posts on X (Formerly Twitter)
I don't think he'd want to leave because he has it cushty here. Can say and do what he wants without repercussions.
Re: TW Posts on X (Formerly Twitter)
How easy/difficult is it to make a fake account on x, o don't use it so genuine question
Re: TW Posts on X (Formerly Twitter)
It's awful. There will only be one outcome.I am certain Mr Azeem will sort it out.

I think it only takes time and an email account, so in theory, quite easy.
However, the longevity to accumulate a following and, dare I say it, credibility, would take years.

It's not a fake account, that one has been on Twitter for years. It's possible the account has been hacked, or someone close to him has got hold of his phone without understanding the repercussions. Or maybe Tom had a strange evening. The posts certainly went off on a tangent when 'Tommy' started referring to Tommy in the third person!!

Re: TW Posts on X (Formerly Twitter)
I want to clear up that the image you have of my tweet to Tommy isn't me having a dig at him or trying to bait him into an outburst, just stating that the comments made regarding what goes on behind closed doors should in fact remain there and not be aired in public. It's not a good look for him or the BoD and I imagine it doesn't help the players out too much either.
I also followed it up with saying that if there are indeed issues at the club that we are not privy to as fans then I think we would all agree that it needs to be sorted out if it is having an impact on the pitch. Now if players haven't been told anything about contracts unfortunately that is part of the game at this level like I said and that shouldn't be a reason for bad performances, in fact it should be the opposite, show the club why we should be wanting to sign you for another season.
If however players are being promised contract talks and the club are then stalling on them or not holding their end of any 'agreements made' that to me is a big problem that will no doubt cause issues down the line as well if players and staff think for any reason that despite what they are being told there's no reassurances in it being true.
To his credit as well TW has been very good at either getting players in on a multi-year deal or at the least having clauses to extend for another year, so I don't think that there are that many players he could have been referring to, as others have mentioned the logical one would be Theo and that raises the question of if Shahid doesn't give Jnr a new deal will Snr follow and also leave despite being under contract?
I like TW for the most part, I think he's an entertaining manager, he's changed the feeling around the club for the better in my eyes since his arrival, yes there have been some bad times, but overall the footballs been entertaining and worth the money to go and watch. We'll always have Swindon, Stockport, WBA, that SF win and the arguably looking towards the biggest day in the clubs history. No one can take that away from him, the players over these last 2 years or us as fans and I think we are all grateful for these experiences.
However, TW does have some negatives about him that occasionally rub me the wrong way, I don't like the nepotism with Jnr, I don't like the occasional pops he has at fans in interviews or on socials and I don't like that for 2 years we basically play one way and one way only (had there been some more tactical flexibility I feel we could've secured playoffs last year if we hadn't gone all guns blazing every game no matter how entertaining it may have been).
Unfortunately though I think the post Woking outburst may have started the writing on the wall, personally I hope not.
Re: TW Posts on X (Formerly Twitter)
Not the best idea for the manager to be getting into spats on twitter.
Maybe he is fed up having a bottom 8 budget whilst most fans probably have higher expectations than that and he's taking the flak for the board, who the last time spoke publicly about our league ambition said they want to be in the EFL.Or maybe it's because his son hasn't been offered a new contrac along with other players. Who knows?
Only one way it will end.

You can’t have a gaffer arguing with fans like this after a defeat to your rivals.MikeShot wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 6:05 pmI want to clear up that the image you have of my tweet to Tommy isn't me having a dig at him or trying to bait him into an outburst, just stating that the comments made regarding what goes on behind closed doors should in fact remain there and not be aired in public. Not quite relevant but didn't want to start a new thread. Kai Corbett is offering coaching on X/Twitter! Didn't expect to see that.

I have to admit that some of these cryptic messages from TW is making me think we're in the financial doo doo again. Like, serious financial doo doo.

Perhaps a guy who doesn't know if he will have an income in a few weeks' time. Takes me back to the Searle days when most of the squad had a sideline gig to make ends meet.Silasgoldeen wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 3:20 pm Not quite relevant but didn't want to start a new thread.
