Barnet tickets
Re: Barnet tickets
Any sanction could be held over until they are next relegated, which given Barnet's record might not be too long.chimpster99 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:16 pm I think the issue here is that is 100% confident of Barnet's promotion, which will bring in prize money and an escape from the jurisdiction of the NL. So he won't give two hoots about any sanctions brought against the club over ticketing.
Alternatively, the EFL could be requested by the National League to make the discharge of any sanction a pre-condition of accepting the bastards into their competition. I don't know if they have the power to do this, but no harm in making the request.
I hate Barnet. Their Hive is the rankest place I've ever watched football. And I've never forgiven them for charging me £9 for a pint of p1ss poor "beer" (Heineken or Carlsberg or some such filth) back in 2019 when the going rate was half that. Nasty, nasty place.

Financial Records 10.2.
10. FINANCIAL RECORDS
10.1 All Clubs shall keep their accounting records for recording the fact and nature of all
receipts and payments so as to disclose with reasonable accuracy, at any time, the
financial position including the assets and liabilities of the Club.
10.2 The home Club shall retain all gate receipts. Where a match is declared all ticket the
Away Club shall be entitled to 15% of the total number of tickets available (or a minimum
of 600 at Step 3, whichever is the greater), subject to any stipulation by the relevant
safety authority affecting these figures. A reasonable allocation of the total disabled
spectator accommodation where appropriate shall be made available to disabled
supporters of the Away Club.
Clubs must ensure that all gate receipts are fully and properly recorded and accounted
for in the accounting records of the club.
Clubs should have a system in operation for home games that enables them to
accurately report on the following;
• A record of all tickets sold in advance
• A reconciliation of cash received by category of entrant through each turnstile
• The number of entrants through each turnstile
• A schedule of the numbers admitted to parts of the stadium that do not pass
through a turnstile
• A list of complimentary tickets authorised
This documentation should be reconciled to the overall takings and declared attendance
for each home game.
10.3 Sale of tickets for away supporters - Clubs are required to sell tickets for their away
matches if required to do so by the Home Club and Home Clubs are required to supply
tickets for their home matches to the Away Club for sale by the Away Club to its
supporters if so requested by the Away Club. These tickets are to be made available on a
sale or return basis and must be ordered by the Away Club at least five weeks before the
Competition match to which they relate. The Home Club must deliver those tickets to the
Away Club at the latest four weeks before the Competition match to which they relate.
Where any match is arranged at shorter notice the above steps shall be taken as soon as
is reasonably practicable. Visiting supporters should also have the same opportunity to
take advantage of pre-booking discounts that apply to home supporters.
For League matches only the Away Club shall be entitled to a commission representing
five (5) per cent of the aggregate sales (exclusive of VAT) of tickets sold on behalf of the
Home Club, unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs. The Away Club shall submit a
VAT invoice, in respect of the commission due, to the Home Club within five working days
of the match taking place.
The Away Club may charge a booking fee of transaction charge to the customer
providing this is exactly the same in every respect as that which it charges for tickets to its
own home matches.
Unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs unsold tickets must be returned, and
received by the Home Club, no later than 48 hours prior to the date of the match.
Payments for tickets sold by an Away Club must be made to the Home Club within five
working days of the date of the match taking place. Any Club making late payment shall:-
• Pay interest to the Home Club at the rate of 5 (five) per cent per annum over
Barclays Bank base rate in force from time to time calculated on a daily basis, on
the outstanding sum from the due date to the actual date of payment to the
Home Club, and
• Forfeit its entitlement to the 5 (five) per cent commission detailed above.
The match hasn’t been delclared all ticket, has it? So they don’t need to give us the 15% it seems.

If it's not all ticket, can I turn up on the day without a ticket and demand to pay for entry?ode2summer wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 10:19 pmbrian bloomfield wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 7:15 pmPlease find the extract of Rules as per away ticketing for League Games. Re: Barnet tickets
Turn up at the gate and hand over a £50 note…will they let you in? I think they may ask for a ticket. Isn’t that what happens at our old ground? Of course Barnet are in breach of the league membership rules. Trouble ahead for them if we press our case. That said we have a pathetic governance structure from the Board down through our management team. Relax and simply enjoy Tommy holding the Trophy aloft at Wembley underpinned by our creative number 6 and Strictly shiny shoes.

Re: Barnet tickets
Every Barnet match is All Ticket by consumer law. No cash is taken on entry to the ground, you must pre purchase a ticket.

Re: Barnet tickets
The best answer to Barnet would be for us to beat them on their own Edgware patch tomorrow.
All 4 of us decided not to attend tomorrow due to the way we have been treated on past occasions at their present home.

Re: Barnet tickets
Barnet still allow purchases by home fans as far as I am aware , from their ticket office/ not the turnstiles . Meaning it isn’t all ticket, unless arrangements are differing for Saturday, which I don’t believe they are.

Re: Barnet tickets
What do you want the to say?
Matey rang Ryan Jones so that's something we didn't know. It's just content, they've done almoat 100 of these probably this season between pre and post matches. There are only so many times you can ask how training went and whether the boys ate looking to turn things around today. Maybe that's making your point for you.
Re: Barnet tickets
On the subject of Barnet tickets, I’d planned to buy one but on Tuesday they were showing none available.Im amazed they can act this way with such short notice in reducing our original allocation which wasn’t great anyhow.I dislike Barnet, a team with minimal following , home and away, who somehow manage to pay top wages and attract the best players.Oh for some fair play ruling at level 5.
I listened to Tommys pre match but it would be in my view much better to get an independent interviewer to ask questions even a tad more challenging and revealing
