Pubs around Wembley
Any thoughts on where Shots fans may congregate before the match, or is it expected everyone will head straight to the ground?

Not seen anything official yet but read somewhere that the Green Man will be our designated pubCornishShot wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 6:17 am Any thoughts on where Shots fans may congregate before the match, or is it expected everyone will head straight to the ground?

Previous events I have been to at Wembley (Football, NFL) I have really enjoyed the atmosphere at Box Park down Wembley way. Any thoughts on heading there for the build up? Would be great to see Shots fans takeover that venue!
Also saw a post on Facebook over the weekend saying Covent Garden could be a good bet, although logistically a bit of a diversion for most!
Either way, I want to be where there majority are heading!

BoxPark is on Wembley Way, a walk down which is an essential part of the occasion, and it holds about 2,000 people so should be bouncing. The downside is there's a £10 entry charge (plus booking fee) and you have to be in there by 1.30pm or you lose your reservation.

If you fon't fancy that then the Green Man should be fun too.

Thanks Chimpster, I didn't realise BoxPark had a £10 entry fee. I've not had to pay for other events before!
The Green Man it is then!

I'll be having a beer a distance away. No appetite for competing with a 10 deep throng at the bar for crap beer.
