He has no intention of letting the team fall to a defeat. 👊
Pity he didn't have the same intention about our last several league games, EV.

Either via event talks or face to face discussion .
😊
....So many positives..
Pity the communication in and around the club is so pathetic.
It's like a secret society, only the chosen will know.
Pathetic

Hi Norskshot, there were 80 odd SC members at last nights event all able to hear Mr Widdrington speak and he had a lengthy discussion with fans at the end . He is very approachable and happy to converse, but being an SC member just means the opportunity is there anytime we have the players and/or staff together.
It’s one of the perks of being a member , but the chance is also there at the preseason open day for all and post match in the lounge , when anyone can go up after the POTM has taken place.
The SC can also put questions to Mr Azeem on behalf of all fans and arrange a meeting if issues need to be discussed , as we did some weeks ago.
With over 400 members now we have a stronger voice and if we can increase that number that voice will only grow .

But I have every confidence in Louis Fell to continue to provide better communication going forward .

I do hope that Louis Fell, the club and the SC develop better communication.
I know that certain fans have been approached by the club about this, and it did result in the video interview with the Chairman and one or two other little pieces..... but this needs to grow and develop far more widely and quickly.

If there were interesting and enlightening discussions as part of your event why have they not been shared more widely? Was the information only for SC members ears and not for the hopefully growing fan base that our Wembley appearance could herald?

News, events, comment, opinion, information should be flowing out of the football club and the SC, but it rarely happens.

If the SC wants to grow from 400 to 1400 then you need to communicate beyond your members too.

Compared to many clubs I'm deafened by the silence.

Hello again Norskshot , I am taking on board all you say and no one can please everyone all the time unfortunately . Mr Widdrington said nothing too much that would perhaps enlighten you , more broad conversation.
As a Supporters Club we act on behalf of fans and our members , rather than make comments or share opinions online. We share information when we it have to give related to the SC .
We also owe it to those members who have paid to join to stage special events and if they wish to share things I am sure they will . Especially those who chatted to staff.
But sometimes there isn’t any news to put out relating to the SC, but when there is we share it on social media .

I am sorry if you feel we are not offering enough or quickly enough. We will always endeavour to do our best on behalf of the fans and around our everyday lives, work, family etc.

I really don't think Tommy turning up and claiming "we're going to ******* win it" inspires much confidence in those who have turned up and watched the last few matches.
It's fine giving it the big one after a few beers, but we've been shocking and second best in every department. We have looked disorganised, lethargic, lacking confidence and completely out of ideas.

As for joining the SC in order to speak with Tommy, I'm not sure he'd take too kindly with questions being asked regarding nepotism, so it might be the shortest SC membership you've had 😆

Forget Wembley until after the Yeovil game as I desperately want us to win this game before the final otherwise it’s a pathetic last 6 games of the season winless!

EV thank you and understand what you say. 400 members is very little out of a massive catchment area and at last count over 17000 going to Wembley......why is that ?
Aldershot has the makings of a club being bigger than Bournmouth....one simple way is let outsiders in. Stop being " defenders of the faith "
As I remember one shots Webber putting it and he or she was spot on.

Since paying the £10 back in March as I was (rather stupidly) trying to make sure that I get Woking tickets 🙂 I have since had no response at all.
I would be happy to renew but right now I seem to have paid £10 which has gone into a blackhole?

Dear IanShot please PM me with your details as ALL new members are emailed confirming membership and entitlements.
If you paid before the cut off date the club were given your name to be able to access priority tickets for the Trophy semi final. This could have been checked by contacting the club or ourselves if you had any doubts .
But all fans were informed of the date to join by, to be able purchase semi final tickets as a second priority after season ticket holders , on social media and on Shotsweb .

Hello RBA, the Supporters Club committe has changed quite a bit since it started a few years back and maybe growth was small because of that . Possibly having a settled crew now, we have been able to build a better relationship with the club to obtain better offers for members. From just 150 members we now have 413 in just a year and hopefully as we grow in strength and have a stronger voice , we can achieve more.
But it takes time , especially as we are volunteering what time we have around our everyday lives.
Our members come mostly from those who attend games and include an amount of Stray Shots who live further afield.
So although there’s as you rightly say a large catchment area , it tends not to be the wider public who join us , as they perhaps do not have the closeness to the club regular attendees do .
We are learning as we go, may make mistakes, but will always do our best .
The committee are of differing age ranges , so some are fans of a 5, 10 and 20 to 50+ years supporting the Shots.
But we all go to games , myself every game .
On a personal note I could not be more passionate about the club or my role with the SC.
The fans ARE the club and I spend time with supporters before every game .
I do listen to everyone and pass on queries, concerns & needs of fans .
Never think you are not being heard .

I am always happy for people to PM me over any matter .

This afternoon though I am off to watch Omar Beckles for Leyton Orient at Huddersfield. !

Where does the money go that the Supporters Club raise? Is it to specific projects?
