Any preferences as to who you’d like to see promoted?
Maidstone 100%

Cracking ground and a proper 4g pitch.

Chester would be good. Just a couple of miles from my house, so it would become my local game.

What's a "proper" plastic pitch, EKS? Sounds to me like an oxymoron. Does the fact that you identify yourself as "East Kent" mean that you have a tendency to overlook Maidstone's less than glorious contributions to the good of football in Kent? Certainly, Dartford have no reason to be anything other than annoyed at being shafted by them.

I'm glad Chester are through their manager left Runcorn Linnets to take over them and he took their number 20 Iwan Murray with him.
He's a little fella but tricky and can take the hits he gets.

Boreham Wood only took 280 fans. Be interested to know if that was their allocation or all that were interested, shocking if it’s the latter.
The Mighty Wood only had 1648 for their playoff v Dorking. I hope Maidstone win.

OK so in order.

Proper 4g ... ie a great surface that allows consistently good football and one that allows the club to utilise the ground and facilities as much as possible. Not a huge Maidstone (club) fan but cannot deny in local Kent football how much they allow their ground to be used for all sorts of matches..men, youth and ladies. Pitch is always available for big(ger) kent footballing events. Not many clubs in the county do that.

As for East Kent...Maidstone is not east Kent. Never has been. Never will be. Genuinely missing what you mean there I guess.

As for Dartford...not really Kent anymore..another place just being swallowed up by London 'boroughs'..but either way couldn't care less about them.

Was just responding to who I prefer...Borehamwood or Maidstone and my answer was Maidstone!

Almost guaranteed. Kent Police do not like Aldershot so very few Kent games are Saturdays now.

Boreham Wood are as loathsome a club as you will ever come across. Praying Maidstone do a job on them.

In the North, I'd prefer Chester, nice city and I have a feeling Scunny would be right up there next season.

That takes me back to the opening day of the 91-92 season the ill fated season, we went into a corner shop near Burnley station after the game with the intention of buying a case of lager 🍺 and it was something like a year out of date and despite that Geoffrey bless him wanted to charge us full price but we had other ideas and got about 50% off, he should really have binned them by Law, anyway as it turned out the beer was fine!
