£60,000 or £30,000

Post by brian bloomfield »

The prize up for grab for the winners next week is £60,000 and £30,000 for the runners up.

I'm praying for a win so the club can use the money on the pitch.

Will the club get any of the gate money? Or does all go to the FA?

Shame.

60,000 would be great. I think we’ll get it 😉

Maybe use some to sign one or two top cbs.

I’ve seen a lot of people say that we will receive no gate money for the final but according to the FA Trophy rule book (22 b), the proceeds are divided equally after proceeds to the staging venue. Unless Wembley have decided they want to take 100% of the revenue which seems a little unfair.

Yes, that is what the rules state; see para 22 (b) (ii)

In the Final, less any payments to the staging venue, the net gate receipts shall be
divided equally between the two competing Clubs.

The pride and positivity of another year in the conference a proud thing on a meagre budget . They all deserve new contracts .

Good info. But what does it cost to hire Wembley? £500k?

I’d think it’s a large number like that yes but then who is covering the cost for the FA Vase game where the ticket sales from those are going to nowhere near cover the cost of playing the game.

Surely it’s not fair that we as a club are covering most of the fee for the day from our large number of tickets sold.

Looking at the other thread it'll probably be used to try and keep the club from going under Image
