Re: Wembley Merch
If Spennymoor can do Wembley shirts why can't we????. I'm sure someone will answer the question.
Re: Wembley Merch
The shirts for the game at Stoke had a naff badge on them, so were clearly rushed.
And, knowing this message board, if a special shirt was to be used, folk would moan about profiteering!
Surely, this isn't as big a game as the Shrewsbury Playoff. Or am I wrong? Promotion to the League is bigger than the Trophy.
(Although the venue is an historic achievement for the club)

Logic has no place in being a Shots supporter!
We are back. Bloomin' back! Who'd have thought it!

yeah I wonder what you'd do here. Call manufacturers up and ask for a bit of stitching in another batch of home shirts? would have to be a small run, so probably expensive per unit, meaning would have to retail quite high. I'm sure they asked but found the sums don't work.

Spennymoor possibly use a smaller company than Errea so might have a more personal relationship with thembrian bloomfield wrote:If Spennymoor can do Wembley shirts why can't we????. I'm sure someone will answer the question.

I received my merchandise today 25th, it was ordered online on the 10th. So I'm very happy with the process.stevieshot wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 9:30 pm I emailed the club a couple of days ago. There is another delivery due any day. And a lot of orders will be ready to go soon.
Re: Wembley Merch
I would say the Promotion Final was the bigger game as it was the last step back into the Football League and was our major goal for reforming the club, this Trophy final and the trip to Wembley would be the next biggest game.Ian M wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 2:32 pm The shirts for the game at Stoke had a naff badge on them, so were clearly rushed.

If Errea are unable to help, perhaps find a local firm to stitch some wording on the current shirts? Just think it was a big chance for the club to make some money. Not sure what profit the club make on each shirt or what the cost is for each shirt to make but if you just added a tenner am sure they could sell a few thousand. No need to be greedy and overcharge but a bit of forward planning was missed.Silasgoldeen wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 3:19 pm yeah I wonder what you'd do here. Don’t want to get any celebratory merch until we are safe from relegation. Can’t get excited about going to Wembley until our league status is secured. FA trophy will but a great day but only if we are in the NL next season

I struggle a little bit with the idea of celebrating getting to a final with merchandise. I'd personally only be interested if it was celebrating winning the final. I think I would probably bin any final merch if we'd lost.

Re: Wembley Merch
I remember the special one-off kit for the Shrewsbury game and was very disappointed we chose to do one with white shirts - a colour that it didn't feel had anything to do with the 12 years or so of the new club leading up to that point. Given Shrewsbury were playing in blue on the day, we could have easily had a red one - I'm old school so prefer us to play in traditional club colours where possible.
I'm pleased we didn't do a one off kit for this one - especially as we are already using a retro kind of kit (echoes of 93/94 promotion) - but had the club done a red and blue special kit I probably would have gone along with it.
I'm not sure we'd have sold as many Wembley T-shirts if we were also selling a one-off kit though - and I wouldn't have thought the profit margins are that different - given a normal T-shirt is probably pretty cheap to produce, while a manufactured kit is probably a lot more expensive.

Assuming we can head into the shop and buy bits ‘on the day’.
Haven’t checked the weather forecast and obviously would depend on staff levels etc but is it worth having merch available inside the ground on Monday? If it’s a hot day, you could put a table just when everyone enters.

Might be worth the Club opening the Shop on the morning of the Final if only for an hour or so, for those going on the coaches at the front of the ground to make any last minute purchases
