Barnet were miles ahead in every department. We were absolutely pony today and if Tommy and his team think all we need to do is turn up against Spennymoore then he is a bigger mug than I thought.
We will get annihilated by Ash United the way we're playing right now.
Rinse and repeat

Rochdale
Boston
York
Woking
Barnet

Fans have spent serious time and money on these 4 fixtures and have been treated with nothing but disdain. We were even lucky vs Sutton where for the first 30 mins I can't remember a more shambolic defensive performance. It shouldn't be acceptable. I'm pretty sure none of us would be allowed to down tools in our jobs like Tommy and the players have in recent weeks.

From a Barnet supporting mate: “You guys are absolutely terrible. Didn’t have a shot and it was pretty embarrassing.”

Can’t argue.

I said to my mate after Dewhurst cleared it following a back-pass and it went for a Barnet goal kick, did that count as a shot on goal?

You are right can't really argue with that, we are very poor. Something has to change or we will all go nutz, if we aren't there already.

Two shots on target today. (Barham straight at the keeper and a weak Barrett shot pushed wide).

Not good enough.

The squad certainly will need picking up off the floor, it can’t be just a case of them taking it slightly easier because they don’t want to get injured anymore more like the team that have zero confidence, certainly won’t be easy now trying to pick your form up in one special game after the last 6 performances.
We are down to the bare bones with 9 players out 7 injured & 2 cup tied, Spennymoor are no mugs most of there team are older than ours and more physical some of our youngsters will need to man up again.

chimpster99 wrote: Sat Apr 26, 2025 9:47 pm He'll rightly put the reserves out v Yeovil, but honestly I think we're underdogs for the final based on form. We can't string together 3 passes or hit a barn door right now.

The change in our shape today when Maja and Corbett came on was palpable. Tommy needs to get a grip and make some tough decisions, especially in midfield, if he wants some Wembley glory.
Why put the reserves out? What or who are we protecting?
So many of our players are clearly either exhausted or unfit. It was so obvious out there today embarrassing at times. They need a two week preparation programme.

(Why they are so exhausted compared to other teams leaves some serious questions to be asked about our coaching.)
Could we also refer similar to your last point to our number of injuries?

Ok, so you're Matt Gray. You're sat in front of Shahid and he explains that there's zero budget for the club. Tell me why you would want to manage Aldershot Town, Matt? Because there's zero money and zero investment. Still want to be manager, Matt? Want to put your managerial CV on the line?

Matt....."Maybe I'll pass, thanks"

Fans say get this guy, he's great. Get this guy, he's got a track record. Get this guy, he's proven at this level. What fans aren't factoring in is that we will never get "this guy" when they are on a hiding to nothing

The players aren't good enough to compete full time at this level ,results show that .

We went on a run of 23 points from 30 and then pick up 1 point from 15. It is noticeable how easily we give up away from home. 4 consecutive away losses on the trot ( -16 gd)
30 points from first 30 games was relegation form before that run.
Thankfully we avoided anyone half decent away from home in the Trophy.
We lack a leader but probably can't afford someone so experienced.
Congratulations to Wrexham. Shame we didn't get their owners

Last time Azeem followed the fans saying “get this guy” , we ended up with Molesley.
