Re: Ex Players
Ryan Glover has played in every match for Barnet, starting all but one. He has hardly ever been substituted. He has 8 goals and 9 assists.
Not bad for a midfielder who just runs around a lot.
Of course we have missed him!

Re: Ex Players
Watching Melbourne Victory youth, it seems Jamie Young is now turning out for Dandenong Thunder in NPL Victoria. An Albanian community club that attract decent support.
Am familiar with their coach who usually turns out teams who play pressing/possession football with a back three, however during buildup Jamie is venturing forward almost in line with the two centre halves to form a back three. have not seen anything like it
For the first goal Jamie was beaten by a rabona.

It all got a bit heated at Inver Park in Larne at the weekend, where a fights broke out on the field at full time of their goalless draw against Glentoran. Kodi Lyons-Foster was involved for the visitors, while Harry Panayiotou (Larne) and Wassim Aouachria (Glentoran) missed the game, although Harry can be seen in the footage.

Re: Ex Players
We could, but it's not our gig so it would be difficult/impossible to give them any sort of platform to be presented to the fans. So I think it would simply be an opportunity to give them a drink and a buffet, plus the chance to watch the game. A nice touch for some stalwarts of the past if the club can manage it.Weybourne Shot wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 4:39 pm Seeing this thread made me think whether the Club are/should invite ex players along to Wembley?

Re: Ex Players
Scotty Rendell got AFC Totton back in the match late on scoring a penalty when 2-0 down to 10-man Dorchester Town. Totton then went 3-2 up only for Dorchester to equalise in the final minute of time added on. In almost the last minute of extra time, Charlie Austin scored the winner for the Stags.lowerbourneshot wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 10:49 pm Scott Rendall scores as Totton beat Dorchester 4 3 in the plays despite being 0 3 down in the 90th minute
A most extraordinary match, in which the Magpies arguably should have been awarded a penalty when 2-0 up with two of their players being fouled in the box during one passage of play.
Joe Oastler captained Totton.

Adam Mekki played a good hour for Frimley Green on Tuesday night in their late 2-1 win against Fleetlands in the Wessex Division One play-off semi-final.
