I asked for a link about three times couple of weeks ago, but apart from being told it exists I couldn't find it anywhere.

I think it is a closed society and members have to prove themselves with the usual secret handshake to join in.

Hi new members always welcome to join the Shots Programme Collectors Facebook group, as CH says we have a meet this weekend. It has worked really well since its inception last summer we have 35 members currently and many have benefited from swapping selling and buying in the group

Wanderer wrote: Thu Dec 05, 2019 10:52 am Aldershot FC didn’t enter the Hampshire Senior Cup for many years and were allowed an exemption not to enter along with Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Southampton. In 1981/82 season the Hampshire FA came up with the idea of the Hampshire Professional Cup to be decided between their four Football League Clubs and this lasted for five seasons.

Aldershot’s results were (with programme details, crowds are goalscorers were known):
1981/82
27/01/1982 SF AFC Bournemouth H 2-0 (1-0) Lucas, Edwards
Full programme
27/04/1982 F Portsmouth A 0-1 (0-0) 3,821
Single sheet programme
1982/83
01/02/1983 SF Portsmouth H 2-4 (1-3)
4 page programme produced
1983/84
13/03/1984 SF Portsmouth H 3-2 (2-1) 2-2 after 90 mins 1,433
Single sheet programme
15/05/1984 F Southampton A 1-3 (0-1)
Single sheet programme
1984/85
30/01/1985 SF Portsmouth A 0-3 (0-1) 771
Single sheet programme
1985/86
05/05/1986 F AFC Bournemouth A 2-1 (0-0)
A hastily arranged game at the end of the season, Portsmouth and Southampton did not enter. Single sheet programme

In 1986/87 and 1987/88 the four professional teams entered the Hampshire Senior Cup at the Quarter Final stage. The results were:
1986/87
11/02/1987 QF RS Southampton A 1-3 (0-0) 1-1 after 90 mins
Full programme produced but very limited in numbers, the person entering the ground in front of me bought the last one and I have never been able to find a copy since.
1987/88
02/02/1988 QF Southampton A 2-3 Smith, Holsgrove
Single sheet programme

From 1988/89 until the club closure in 1992 they entered the Hampshire Senior Cup in the 1st Round, the results were:
1988/89
04/01/1989 1 Bashley H 1-0 Randall
Four page photocopy produced
24/01/1989 2 Basingstoke Town A 1-0 (0-1) Anderson (pen)
Full programme
01/03/1989 QF Wimborne Town H 3-2 (1-1)
2 page printed sheet
20/03/1989 SF AFC Bournemouth A 0-1
Match was switched to Dean Court on day of the game because the Recreation Ground was waterlogged, a 2 page printed sheet similar to the Wimborne game had been printed by Aldershot already, if this was used at the actual game is unknown.
1989/90
04/12/1989 1 Christchurch H 1-0 Puckett (pen)
Four page photocopy produced
24/01/1990 2 Wimborne Town A 1-4 (1-1) Banton
Full programme
1990/91
17/12/1990 2 Bournemouth H 1-2
Four page photocopy produced
1991/92
16/12/1991 1 Basingstoke Town A 2-0 Reinelt, Dean
Full programme produced
08/01/1992 2 AFC Bournemouth A 1-0
Single sheet
27/01/1992 QF Romsey Town H 3-1
Four page photocopy produced
Although Aldershot won the game, they had been closed down before the Semi Final could take place, so were thrown out of the competition.

This fixtures usually contained a mixture of first teamers, first team squad not playing and youth team members. The RS Southampton game in 1987 took place the evening after the Fulham Freight Rover game against Fulham (Penalty shoot-out game) and some players played a part in both.
