ATFC Supporters Club - please read!

Post by ATFC Supporters Club »

The Aldershot Town FC Supporters Club was established in 2020 to represent all supporters of ATFC, help raise awareness of the Club, grow our membership and fanbase and to raise money for related initiatives. Our voluntary committee comprises of dedicated Shots fans who are accountable to members. We are also independent from the club and as a committee decide how to spend our funds.

Whilst the club currently averages ~2,000 home supporters, it is well known that we have many thousand more fans across the country and indeed the world. We want to reach out to ALL supporters and anybody with a connection to ATFC to join the Supporters Club. Membership details are available here: https://www.atfcsupclub.co.uk

Regardless of whether you decide to join ATFCSC or not, we would love to see anybody reading this message who shops online to always use the Easyfundraising platform for ALL online purchasers.

It's FREE to use and it's so EASY. In just a week a small handful of supporters have already signed up and in a week have raised £20. If everyone signs up then we could raises tens of thousands of pounds. There is no catch. There is an app. If you enable the "donation reminder" or go to "manage extensions" by pressing AA on your brower then you can raise money for Aldershot Town FC Supporters Club without even having to do anything.

In terms of fundraising it is the "elephant in the room" and we ask that everyone gets behind it, signs up, spreads the word and asks all friends family and colleagues to join. Post it all over all social media platforms and help raise funds for YOUR Supporters Club which will benefit ATFC.

How it works:

Shop online across over 8,000 brands here. It costs you nothing and the retailer will pay the Aldershot Town FC Supporters Club commission. You don't need to do anything else.

If you have an account, please login and ensure that your "chosen cause" is Aldershot Town FC Supporters Club. If you haven't logged in for a while you may need to "switch cause". Aldershot Town FC Supporters Club is the only cause that benefits ATFC.

If you have heard about it but never done anything or if you have signed up previously but forgotten about it then now is the time to re-engage! By shopping online via the Easyfundraising platform you can make a real difference wherever you are!

Please use the link below to join for free now!

Thank you to the handful of Shotswebbers who have signed up - raising over £250 in commission from online shopping in a few months is incredible. Hopefully the word will spread and more people will join up and shop online via this free platform!

I believe that Paul Blundell is no longer taking in any more programmes so I would suggest that you contact the club next week sometime and ask if they want them. Alternatively, and I think that this would be the best option, you could post a message on the ‘Programme exchange/swap idea’ thread and ask if anyone wants them.
