New Away Kit 2024/25
Re: New Away Kit 2024/25
Boreham wood wore Black for our final away game so presumably rules have been relaxed.
My problem with black away kits is at grounds like southends on Tuesday nights, where the backdrop at pitch level is really dark and the floodlights aren't great, it becomes really hard to pick the players out.
Hopefully on similar nights at similar grounds we'll opt for the day-glo yellow

Yes should be at least 2 seasons but that’s where we are these daysCH wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 3:29 pmAgreed, especially after £100 for the name on the shirt promotionPeter macdonald wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 2:00 pm Seems to be a new kit every season now which I think is a bit naughty
I really liked the set we just had and was hoping they'd be retained.

i am usually an XL but need 3XL in these errea jobbiesNobby wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 3:12 pm I like the new shirt - but also liked the Argie one.
Not having bought a replica shirt for a few years, what is the quality like and how do the sizes pan out? *
I see they go to 6XL - surely that would only be for the American market?
* Asking for a fat friend.
and you may ask yourself, well....how did I get here?
Re: New Away Kit 2024/25
Thanks Giles. Depending on store I'm normally an XL or 2XL and do prefer my shirts on the baggy side to hide my belly - so I'm probably a 4 on these I reckon.

As I posted earlier the home kit was for two seasons, that hasn't changed and according to the news release on the club website the third kit hasn't changed either.CH wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 3:29 pmAgreed, especially after £100 for the name on the shirt promotionPeter macdonald wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 2:00 pm Seems to be a new kit every season now which I think is a bit naughty

The old saying goes "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you will never please all the people all the time." In fact sometimes it seems impossible to even please some of the people any of the time

I have a black replica Shots away kit from a few years ago, made by Carbrini and sponsored by XFOR. What season was that?
Re: New Away Kit 2024/25
Personally, not keen on black kits, so its a no from me, love our 'Argie' one though

That would have been the 2010/2011 season

I like this but agree with the general consensus that we should have kits for a minimum of two seasons.
Then again, it’s a yearly revenue stream…
